They’d just come out of the woods, doing stuff I’m sure they didn’t want their teacher to know about.
막 숲속에서 니온 듯한데  뭔지는 몰라도 선생님들에게 알리고 싶지 않은 짓을 한 게 분명해 보였다.

Shrieked 꽥하고 비명을 질렀다.

바로 그때 걸음아 날 살려라 도망갔어야 했지만, 잭이 아직도 바닥에서 누워 있는데 나 혼자 도망갈 수는 없었다.

Voices in the Dark

I think we lost them .
따돌린것 같아.

A few feet behind 몇 발자국 뒤에서

letting go of my arm. 내 팔을 놓으며

All we could hear were the crickets and frogs and our own crazy panting.
귀뚜라미와 개구리, 그리고 미친 듯이 헉헉대는 우리의 숨소리가 전부였다.

We were out of breath, stomachs hurting, bodies bent over our knees.
어찌나 숨이 차고 옆구리가 아픈지 무릎을 붙잡고 숨을 몰아쉬었다.

That was intense. 떨려서 죽는줄 알았어. (강렬했다.)

They looked ike jerks.

Holding my palm up like Jack just had, thoug I wasn’t sure if they’d high-five me, too.
나도 잭처럼 손바닥을 높이 오렸지만 나한테도 하이파이브를 해줄지 자신이 없었다.
